Submitted by SMB Kev on July 21, 2009 – 8:24 pmNo Comment

Jim Cramer talked about the explosion of mobile internet.  The growth of mobile internet is a “huge investable trend.”  Cramer discussed MLB.com with its CEO Bob Bowman.  Cramer stated multiple times MLB.com is the leader in mobile internet because of its “incredible content.”  Subscribers at MLB.com can watch live game streams on their cell phones as well as radio broadcasts, game recaps and much more.  The most important point made in the interview is the increase in mobile subscribers to MLB.com.  In just two years the amount of subscribers to MLB.tv that were mobile grew from 8% to 30%!  Bowman projected that within two years more than half of the visits to MLB.tv will be from mobile users.
